MOJO: Upright Bass

MOJO: Upright Bass by Vir2 Instruments is a deeply sampled virtual double bass that captures the warm, woody resonance of a 150-year-old instrument played by jazz bassist Stefan “Pista” Bartus. With up to six dynamic layers, eight round-robins, true legato, and speed-dependent articulation switching, it delivers remarkably lifelike performances for jazz, pop, rockabilly, and any style that demands organic low end. Choose from five microphone positions or a pre-mixed option, and shape your tone with adjustable string buzz, authentic vibrato, and a full FX suite. The library includes eight articulations—performable repetitions, percussive hits, and genuine played chords—plus 20 presets and a Performance page packed with MIDI grooves across jazz, blues, bossa nova, Latin, funk, and rock. Whether you’re composing, programming, or recording, MOJO: Upright Bass gives hobby producers an expressive, realistic upright bass that sits perfectly in any mix.
