MonsterDAW MONSTER Strings v1.2022.09 x64 VST VST3 AU WiN macOS [FREE]

MonsterDAW MONSTER Strings is a free virtual string instrument for producers who want acoustic and synthesized string sounds without a large RAM footprint. Version v1.2022.09 includes 13 presets across Acoustic and Synthesizer categories, with the acoustic selection split into Ensemble and Solo sounds. It suits hobby producers building arrangements, adding string layers to electronic tracks, or sketching parts before choosing a more detailed orchestral library.

The controls cover global volume and an ADSR envelope, letting you adjust how each sound starts, holds, and fades. Built-in chorus, delay, and reverb provide ways to widen the texture or add space, while parameter automation lets you vary settings throughout a track. Double-clicking a knob resets its value.

Soundbanks can live on an external drive rather than your system disk, and some presets have file sizes of around 25 MB. This Windows 64-bit instrument is a practical option for compatible hosts such as FL Studio and Ableton Live. Its focus is lightweight, usable string sounds rather than an extensive collection of orchestral articulations.
