Mariana is a dual-layer software synthesizer built around Moog’s bass heritage, aimed at hobby producers who want deep, mix-ready low end without a steep learning curve. Each of its two layers pairs two oscillators with a sub-oscillator, and you can blend or play the layers duophonically for stacked or split bass tones. Two resonant Moog-style filters plus a dedicated sub filter let you add warmth, roll off highs, or push resonance for bite. Stereo oscillators and crossover filtering help you widen the stereo image while keeping a solid mono foundation, and built-in tube, tape, and overdrive saturation with a tight compressor add weight and glue. Separate delay and chorus effects per layer, real-time metering, three LFOs, three envelopes, and two random generators per layer support detailed sound design, with extensive modulation via MIDI, MPE, and virtual CV. It ships with 200 presets and also handles leads, percussion, and effects. Runs on Windows.
