Mariana is a dual-layer software synthesizer built specifically for bass, though it can also handle leads, percussion, and effects. Each layer has two oscillators plus a sub-oscillator, and you can mix the two layers together or play them duophonically. Two resonant Moog filters and a dedicated sub filter shape the tone, while stereo oscillators and crossover filtering let you keep a solid mono low end while adding stereo width. Built-in tube, tape, and overdrive saturation plus a compressor add weight and glue. Separate delay and chorus effects per layer expand the stereo image without weakening the mono foundation. With three LFOs, three envelopes, two random generators per layer, and a deep modulation editor, you can create evolving sounds. Nearly every parameter supports MIDI, MPE, and virtual CV modulation.
