Motion

Motion is a Kontakt instrument library built for producers who want to add movement and atmosphere to their tracks. It offers 230 programmed sounds split into two folders: 120 individual samples and 110 layered ‘Movements’ combining up to four samples. The sounds fall into four categories—field recordings, reverberated keys, tonal pads, and soundscapes—all assigned to the mod wheel for expressive modulation. Use Motion for ambient textures, cinematic underscores, downtempo beats, or experimental electronic music. The randomise function and intuitive menu make it easy to transform sounds or build your own layered patches. All samples loop seamlessly for evolving, sustained tones. Motion requires the full version of Kontakt 5.8.1 or higher and suits hobby producers exploring sound design across genres from chillwave to IDM.
