MOTORCITY EQ

The MOTORCITY EQ plugin from Heritage Audio is a faithful recreation of the legendary Motown equalizer, the secret behind countless classic records. Unlike generic parametric EQs, it offers seven fixed frequency bands (50 Hz, 130 Hz, 320 Hz, 800 Hz, 2 kHz, 5 kHz, and 12.5 kHz) with stepped gain increments for consistent recall and easy A/B testing. Each band models the rich analog behavior, gentle curves, and natural phase interactions of the original passive hardware, delivering unmistakable warmth, punch, and musicality. Use it on individual tracks, buses, or the stereo master to add cohesion, depth, and soul to your mixes. It suits hobby producers and engineers seeking vintage character and workflow-friendly integration in any DAW. Whether tracking or mixing, this EQ brings the timeless Motown vibe to modern productions with precision and personality.
