MPC Expansion: Model 1978

MPC Expansion: Model 1978 by Beat brings the distinctive character of the Korg MS-20 to compatible Akai MPC setups. This 1.17 GB sound expansion contains 64 keygroup programs focused on basses and synth patches, ranging from aggressive, filter-heavy tones to gentler sounds. Use it for weighty basslines, bold synth parts, or softer passages when a track needs a less forceful touch. The included BS Monster and SY Niceguy keygroups are useful starting points for exploring that contrast, while audio previews help you audition the collection. It suits producers who want MS-20 character in a ready-made MPC sound library rather than a separate synth instrument. Model 1978 requires compatible MPC software or hardware, including MPC Beats, with support listed for MPC One, X, Live, Live mkII, Force, Touch, and Renaissance.
