Muller audioTester is a Windows audio measurement utility for producers, speaker builders and audio enthusiasts who want to check how their equipment performs. Paired with a high-quality sound card, it measures frequency response, distortion and loudspeaker impulse response, helping you investigate speakers, crossovers and other audio hardware.

Its analysis tools include FFT spectrum analysis with up to 1024k points, synchronous and asynchronous sweeps, and frequency-response testing using Dirac or MLS impulses. For loudspeaker projects, audioTester also offers impedance plots, Thiele-Small parameter measurement and waterfall displays. Distortion analysis covers THD+N, individual harmonics from H2 to H9, and distortion relative to power.

You can compare up to eight curves in a 2D graph, apply display filters and use correction files to compensate for frequency-response deviations. Calibration enables absolute level readings in dBV and dBu. Settings presets make repeat tests easier, while export options include graph images, text measurement data and generated tones as WAV files. Optional ASIO support is available. This is a technical measurement tool rather than a creative synth or mixing effect.
