Music Box

Music Box by Wavesfactory is a Kontakt instrument built around a collection of sounds from an old music box. It brings that familiar, nostalgic character into your productions, offering an alternative to piano or synth parts when a track needs a more intimate melodic voice. Try it for lullaby-inspired themes, understated film cues, atmospheric intros or a contrasting melody in an electronic arrangement.

For hobby producers and composers drawn to the charm of traditional mechanical instruments, Music Box offers a focused sound source rather than a broad instrument collection. Its old music box origins make it a fitting choice when you want to suggest childhood memories or give a melody a wistful feel.

The full version of Kontakt is required to use this instrument. In the free Kontakt Player, Music Box runs in demo mode, so check your Kontakt licence before adding it to your setup.
