Native Instruments Maschine 2 Factory Library v1.3.4 is a Windows-only content update for producers who already use the MASCHINE ecosystem. The 336 MB download updates an existing library; it is not the complete 8 GB factory sound collection or a standalone VST instrument.
The full MASCHINE factory collection provides material for building beats, arranging tracks, and exploring sampled instruments. It contains 8,627 samples, 445 drum kits, 388 multisampled instruments, 403 sliced loops, 1,200 patterns, and 38 projects. This mix suits hobby producers who want ready-made starting points alongside individual sounds they can shape into their own arrangements.
Version 1.3.4 adds MIDI templates for assorted external hardware instruments and effects, and resolves several minor content bugs. These changes make this release relevant to existing users maintaining their sound library or working with external gear.
The wider MASCHINE 2 software also includes five monophonic drum synths, while MASCHINE 2.5 offers eight Perform FX for expressive sound processing. Those are software features, not additional standalone plug-ins supplied by this library update.
