Native Instruments Massive X is a wavetable synthesizer for producers and sound designers who want to build detailed electronic sounds, from aggressive bass patches to shifting textures. As the successor to MASSIVE, it combines a new oscillator section with flexible signal routing and extensive modulation.

Start with more than 170 wavetables and explore 10 reading modes, including Gorilla, Hardsync, Formant, and wavetable bending. Two phase-modulation oscillators add further movement to the main oscillators, giving you more ways to shape a patch at its source.

The routing system lets you rearrange signal paths, create feedback connections, and use modulators as audio sources to drive elements such as the comb filter. In the Performer section, you can draw modulation patterns and assign them to parameters for evolving sequences or carefully controlled changes. Remote Octave lets you trigger those patterns from your keyboard for hands-on performance.

Resizable interface options and alternative skins help fit the synth into your workspace. This Windows package also includes the Bounce, Drive, Haze, Mechanix, Moebius, Our House, Pulse, Quest, Rush, and Scene expansions.
