NCH Crescendo Masters 2.08 Beta

NCH Crescendo Masters 2.08 Beta is Windows music notation software for composers, arrangers and hobby producers who want to turn musical ideas into readable scores. It focuses on writing, saving and printing sheet music rather than processing audio or generating sounds inside a DAW.

Build arrangements using treble, bass, alto or tenor clefs, then set the key and time signatures to match your piece. Available notation includes notes and rests from whole to sixteenth values, plus accidentals, dotted notes, chords, ties, slurs and repeats. Text entries let you label a score with its title, tempo, dynamics or lyrics, while braced staves support ensemble writing.

For editing, you can drag notes to adjust their pitch or position, reuse passages by copying and pasting measures, and zoom in for closer work. Keyboard shortcuts help you switch between notes and rests. Crescendo is useful for producers who also prepare written parts for musicians or sketch arrangements away from their sequencer. The listed operating systems are Windows XP, Vista, 7, 8, 8.1 and 10; no VST or other plugin format is specified.
