NoiseWorks Multilay is a multiband delay effect for Windows producers who want to shape repeats beyond a standard echo. Available in VST3 format, it suits sound design, rhythmic delay patterns and evolving textures in compatible hosts such as FL Studio and Ableton Live.

Choose between splitting audio into up to three frequency bands or separating its transient and sustain components. Frequency bands have independent delay engines, ducking controls and feedback-loop effect chains. Transient splitting lets you build rhythms from attacks while treating sustained material separately for smoother ambience.

Build custom chains using EQ, Saturation, Chorus, Phaser, Stereotool and Wow/Flutter, placing processing before, within or after the feedback loop. Drag-and-drop editing makes rearranging modules straightforward, while EQ inside the loop can shape how different frequencies decay.

RT60 feedback control sets the target tail length in seconds and maintains it when delay timing changes. Per-band ducking helps manage overlapping signals; Follow mode instead reduces the delay when input stops. Separate dry and wet gains, Insert and Send modes, and a mix lock for preset changes round out the controls.
