Ohmicide[S] is a multi-band distortion effect plugin for Windows, offering 111 distortion algorithms across 37 types and three modes: Standard, XXX, and ODD. It covers classic analog-style saturation, aggressive synth distortion, and unconventional textures. The plugin includes a two-knob upward compressor/expander to shape dynamics before distortion, type-specific mod controls, and bias with distinct behaviors per family. You can split the signal into frequency bands or run them in parallel, with a dedicated low-end band and pre/post bands for serial distortion chains. Gating, filtering, and feedback controls let you tame or unleash noise. Four macro controllers per preset allow deep mapping with adjustable ranges and response curves, and every audio parameter can be modulated, including by envelope followers and ADSRs. It runs as VST2, VST3, and AAX on Windows, making it suitable for hobby producers using FL Studio, Ableton Live, or Logic (via wrapper) who want a flexible distortion toolkit for sound design and mixing.
