OptoRED

Tone Empire OptoRED is an optical compressor plugin that pairs classic American tube optical compression with flexible controls for modern production. Its clean, transparent character helps manage dynamics without adding unwanted coloration, making it a practical choice for vocals and bass as well as drums, synths, percussion, and acoustic instruments. Switch between compressor and limiter modes for gentler leveling or firmer peak control, then use the wet/dry mix to blend the processed signal with your original audio. Automatic gain and a built-in sidechain circuit add flexibility, while the low-cut filter helps remove unwanted low frequencies. Designed with low-latency tracking in mind, OptoRED suits home producers and recording musicians who want straightforward optical dynamics control that can handle more than traditional vocal duties.
