Overloud Mad In Italy Rig Library

Overloud Mad In Italy MK50 + SL Guitar EQ is a TH-U expansion library for guitarists and home producers who want Italian valve-amp tones for recording and mixing. Rather than a standalone amp plugin, it adds captured rigs and presets to a TH-U setup, with Windows listed as the supported platform.

The library focuses on the sound of the MadCat MK50, a 50-watt Italian amplifier head built with three ECC83 triodes, two EL84 power tubes and Mercury Magnetics transformers. Its tonal range comes from four inputs—Normal, Bright, High and Low—alongside independent Normal and Bright channel levels.

Inside are 38 rigs covering different channel configurations and dynamic responses. The included SL Guitar EQ draws inspiration from a 4K console equalizer, providing an additional tool for shaping guitar tone. Two preset banks offer different starting points: 22 ready-to-mix settings for production work and nine ready-to-play settings for getting straight into a session. It suits players seeking several variations of one distinctive amp rather than a broad collection of unrelated models.
