Overloud TH-U Premium is a guitar and bass amp simulator for producers who want to build recording tones without a physical amp setup. It combines modeled amplifiers, playback of captured rigs and cabinet impulse-response processing in a customizable signal chain.
The collection includes 89 guitar amps, four bass amps, 52 cabinets and 84 pedal and rack effects. You can shape cabinet sound with 18 microphone models, placing up to four microphones on each cabinet, or load external guitar cabinet IRs through the built-in convolver. Amp Tweak lets you change virtual preamp and power-amp tubes and simulate variac behavior for further tonal adjustments.
For quick starting points, TH-U provides over 1,000 presets, a dedicated bass bank and 20 factory rigs for its Rig Player. Split routing supports parallel processing, while customizable MIDI control suits hands-on operation and live use. Additional captured rigs and IRs are available separately.
This Windows edition offers VST3, AAX and standalone operation, making it suitable for guitarists and hobby producers working in compatible hosts such as FL Studio and Ableton Live.
