Oxford Limiter – HDX

Sonnox Oxford Limiter – HDX is a mastering limiter for producers who want louder, denser mixes without sacrificing punch and definition. Adjustable attack, release and a variable soft knee let you shape peak control around your material, while the Enhance section increases perceived loudness to give finished tracks greater presence. Use it to tighten a drum-heavy mix or add the final level control to a detailed, dynamic master. The Recon meter displays reconstructed signal peaks rather than just sample peaks, and Auto Comp corrects reconstruction errors in line with the ITU-R BS.1770-4 true-peak standard. For final delivery, you can audition and apply 16-bit or 24-bit TPDF dither with variable noise shaping. Factory presets provide useful starting points for producers developing their mastering workflow.
