Sonnox Oxford Limiter is a mastering limiter for producers who want louder, denser mixes while retaining punch and detail. Adjustable attack, release and a variable soft knee let you shape how peaks are controlled, helping kicks and snares stay defined as you raise the level. The Enhance section increases perceived loudness, giving finished tracks extra presence without relying solely on conventional peak limiting.

For final delivery, the Recon meter displays reconstructed signal peaks rather than just sample peaks, while Auto Comp corrects reconstruction errors in line with the ITU-R BS.1770-4 true peak standard. You can also audition and apply TPDF dither for 16-bit or 24-bit output, with four variable-strength noise-shaping modes. Factory presets offer useful starting points, making Oxford Limiter a practical choice for home producers refining a master or experienced engineers balancing loudness, clarity and impact.
