P2000

P2000 is a Kontakt instrument built from the 12-bit sampling engine and analogue resonant filters of the Sequential Circuits Prophet 2000 and 2002. It delivers over 1300 samples shaped by that vintage hardware, giving you haunting choirs, spacey synths, punchy bass, leads, FX, ambient keys, 80s stabs, electronic blips, dreamy arpeggiations and hard-hitting electronic sounds. The interface makes it easy to manipulate samples, with 36 selectable voices across three banks, over 200 snapshots in six categories, and 30 MULTI instruments. On-board effects include a 3D controller for multiple modulation targets, MIDI-syncable LFOs and delays, velocity control over filter envelope attack and decay, plus a random patch generator for instant inspiration. Ideal for producers chasing warm, characterful tones with a distinct 80s flavour, it suits anyone using the full version of Kontakt 5.7.3 or above.
