Not Another Glue-Comp is a stereo bus compressor plugin modeled after classic British VCA console designs. It uses a VCA circuit with transformer saturation to add harmonic density and punch without muddying the low end. The compression is program-dependent: release time adapts automatically, reacting faster to transients and slower to sustained material. 4x oversampling ensures alias-free processing on high-frequency content. Controls include Threshold, Ratio, Attack, Release, Makeup Gain, Mix, and a sidechain HPF from 30–185 Hz to keep kick and bass out of the detection circuit. Use it on the mix bus for 1–3 dB of gain reduction to glue your track together without squashing dynamics, on drum bus for punch and tightness, or on any stereo bus where you want density without flattening.
