Pajczur pajEQanalyser is a Windows audio analysis plugin for examining how an EQ or another processor changes frequency magnitude and phase. Available in VST3 and AAX formats, it suits hobby producers and mix engineers who want to understand their processing chains rather than rely on listening alone.
To measure a processor, place an impulse generator before it and pajEQanalyser after it. This setup lets you inspect EQ curves, explore the tonal shaping of console-style processors, and investigate phase-related low-end cancellation. Selectable frequency resolutions provide a closer look at bass frequencies, while extensive zoom controls make individual frequency details easier to read. A phase-wrapping control helps display shifts beyond ±180 degrees.
Latency detection helps distinguish processing delay from phase shift, although it has limits. It is intended for relatively straightforward processing such as EQ, saturation, and compression; reverb, delay, or extreme equalization can make detection unreliable.
For Windows users working in compatible hosts such as FL Studio or Ableton Live, pajEQanalyser offers a focused way to compare processors and troubleshoot phase behavior.
