Philta XL

Philta XL by Vengeance Sound is a creative filter effect for shaping synths, drums and loops, from smooth tonal sweeps to heavily modulated textures. Its two filters offer slopes from 12 to 96 dB, adjustable resonance width, and bandpass and notch modes for focused cuts or phaser-style movement. Two tempo-synced LFOs with five shapes and two envelope followers let you build rhythmic changes or make filtering respond to the incoming audio. Add saturation, ring modulation or bit-crushed grit when a clean sweep needs more character. Saturation and bit crushing can sit before or after the filters, while the rate reducer and bit crusher can follow cutoff modulation. An output limiter helps control the results. With over 130 presets by Manuel Schleis and full host automation, Philta XL suits producers who want quick inspiration and deeper sound-design control.
