Audiority PlexiTape brings the character of a vintage ’70s tape echo into your DAW, modelling the motor, tape, heads and FET preamp rather than just repeating the input. Use it for warm vocal throws, spacious guitar echoes or textured synth patterns, with an auxiliary echo and panning controls for wider stereo delays. Choose between Early and Late FET preamp models, shape repeats with the Echo Tone equalizer, and explore tape speeds from 3 to 15 IPS in Regular mode or lock playback to tempo with Sync. Three operating modes cover classic echo, preamp-and-tape coloration without delay, and Sound On Sound looping.
