Plucked Piano

Plucked Piano is a Kontakt instrument built from a 1960s Danemann piano, captured not with hammers but with plucked strings for a delicate, harp-like tone. The 1.5GB library delivers 88 multisampled keys and 783 samples recorded across three mic positions — ribbon, AKG 414 and room — giving you everything from intimate close detail to spacious, cinematic air. Three velocity layers keep the response smooth and dynamic, so soft passages and more assertive plucks both feel natural. The bespoke interface makes shaping the sound quick and intuitive, letting you dial in character without slowing your workflow. It suits film and game composers, ambient and neoclassical writers, and producers who want a distinctive plucked texture inside their arrangements. Please note this requires the full version of Kontakt and will not run in the free Kontakt Player. Ideal for FL Studio, Ableton and Logic users on Windows seeking an expressive, playable plucked piano.
