Polarity-MD is a free four-band dynamics processor that expands on the classic OTT multiband approach by giving you upward and downward compression on every band, plus dedicated clippers on the input, output, and each individual band. A global Amount knob adjusts the ratio of all compressors at once, while shared threshold, ratio, and attack/release controls keep the workflow fast. You can define custom crossover frequencies or choose presets, and switch to linear-phase filtering for parallel chains. Per-band normalization helps balance levels, and 4x oversampling reduces aliasing when driving the clippers. Built-in LUFS meters show loudness before and after processing, and a match-level button makes A/B comparisons fair. Solo each band to inspect problem areas, or click a clip meter to hear exactly what the clipper removes in delta mode. Pro Mode reveals extra controls without cluttering the default view.
