PolyM by XILS Lab is a vintage-style synthesizer built around top-octave divider technology, giving chords, strings and pads a distinctive, phase-linked character. Two divide-down oscillators with per-note pulse width modulation provide the foundation, while a gritty 24 dB ladder filter, acoustic filter bank and resonator bank shape its rich, animated tone. Switch the oscillators into FREE mode for subtle movement or pronounced phasing, then explore the self-oscillating filter for bold, expressive textures. PolyM also expands its vintage inspiration with an ADSR amplifier envelope, multiple LFOs and three vintage-flavoured effects. An arpeggiator with extended modulation adds rhythmic possibilities, and presets include the recognisable Vox Humana sound.
