PSI Cymbals

PSI Cymbals is a deeply sampled acoustic cymbal library for Kontakt that captures the character of premium Meinl, Sabian, Dream and Zildjian bronze in a superb live room. You get three hi-hats with up to 40 velocity layers, five rides played with sticks and soft beaters, plus crashes, chinas, splashes and an electro stack. Every hit was recorded through three mic positions: close Flea 47 into BAE 1073D, AKG 414 overheads into API 3124, and Neumann KM184 room mics into ISA 428, all via Prism converters. The result is detailed, dynamic and mix-ready, whether you need natural acoustic drums for rock, pop or jazz, or expressive cymbal textures for cinematic and electronic productions. It suits hobby producers using FL Studio, Ableton or Logic who want realistic, playable cymbals without a huge recording space. Requires the full version of Kontakt.
