PSP MasterComp is a stereo compressor and expander built for precise dynamics control in mastering and mixing. Its 64-bit floating-point processing and double-sampled engine help preserve clarity under heavy compression, while the optional Smooth Level Detector supports low-distortion, analog-like smoothing. Use it to tighten a finished mix, reshape transients, or bring movement back to flattened dynamics. MasterComp offers automatic attack and release options, detailed sidechain filtering, adjustable channel linking, and a blend control for parallel processing. Selectable Mid, Side, Left, Right, or Stereo processing lets you focus on specific parts of the stereo image, with an optional brickwall limiter for output control. The included PSP MicroComp provides a simpler, CPU-efficient alternative for individual tracks and buses.
