Quadrant 2 Upgrade from Quadrant 1

Quadrant 2 is a modular effects processor and sound generator from Glitchmachines, designed for experimental sound design and electronic music production. It offers a streamlined patching system where you populate up to 12 slots with modules from a library of 50, then connect up to four input and output nodes per slot using virtual patch cables. Each node includes built-in attenuators and handles multiple signals, enabling complex modulation scenarios. Beyond processing drum loops, soft synths, and external hardware, Quadrant 2 can create completely self-generating patches, making it equally capable as a standalone sound generator. Version 2 adds four extra module slots, 14 new modules, and numerous refinements over the original. It excels at producing vivid electronic tones, textures, and patterns, and ships with over 100 factory patches across three banks. It suits hobby producers and sound designers seeking a deep, flexible modular environment for creative audio effects and generative exploration.
