Quanta 2 by Audio Damage is a granular synthesizer that turns samples into evolving textures, pads, and rhythmic soundscapes. Drop in AIFF, WAV, FLAC, MP3, or Ogg files and the plugin detects the root note, then lets you adjust it. Two virtual analog oscillators can act as sub bass or feed the grain engine, while optional grain pitch quantization locks randomization to a chosen scale. The redesigned interface uses right-click modulation assignment with clear indicators, and the modulation section now includes four MIDI-assignable macro knobs plus improved envelopes and LFOs. A built-in chorus, stereo dual delay, and reverb round out the sound. Quanta 2 loads all Quanta 1 presets and includes new packs from Red Means Recording and Red Sky Lullaby.
