STRÄNG 2 is a software synthesizer that takes a different approach to subtractive synthesis by running convolution in real time inside each voice. Instead of triggering samples, the oscillator passes through a convolution body that becomes part of the sound itself, so repeated notes vary naturally and breathe rather than sounding identical. Version 2.5 adds a shadow layer, sub, string model, and SPARKLE, all feeding that same body. New features include SYMPATHY, which adds sympathetic resonance so held notes ring through every new note, plus four assignable envelopes with twelve destinations, sample-and-hold patterns locked to the bar or fanned across chords, and a skin system. The factory library now includes 341 presets, with 37 new ones in a dedicated NEW category. It suits hobby producers aged 25-55 working in FL Studio, Ableton, or Logic on Windows who want an organic, evolving subtractive synth with a unique character. Available as VST3 and SAL, 184.9 MB.
