RDGAudio World Music Day String x64 VST3 AU WiN MAC

RDGAudio WMD Strings is a free sampled string instrument for producers who want to add string parts to their tracks without building a large orchestral setup. Each key uses an individually recorded, looped sample, and velocity sensitivity lets your playing influence the response.

Two presets, Normal and Slow Strings, provide starting points for shorter staccato-style phrases or sustained, legato-style lines. Attack and release controls help you shape how notes begin and fade, making it easier to fit the strings around drums, synths or other instruments. You can also adjust tuning and amplitude, soften the sound with a low-pass filter, or add movement using the LFO rate and depth controls. A built-in plate reverb supplies space without requiring a separate effect.

WMD Strings suits hobby producers writing melodic arrangements, atmospheric layers and hybrid electronic tracks. Factory content is included, with support for RDGAudio’s .RDG format. The plugin is available as a 64-bit VST3 for Windows and an AU instrument for Mac, covering compatible hosts such as FL Studio, Ableton Live and Logic Pro on their respective platforms.
