Red Rock Sound EQP-1A is a Windows equalizer plugin for producers who want broad tonal shaping with vintage-style character and flexible channel routing. Inspired by a 1960s tube program equalizer, it models transformer and amplifier coloration, with switchable analog saturation. It suits hobby producers working on stereo tracks, mid/side adjustments, or more complex multichannel mixes.
The low-frequency section offers boost and attenuation at 20, 30, 60, and 100 Hz. Using both together creates a resonant shelf for shaping bass weight and contour. For the top end, seven boost frequencies span 3–16 kHz, with adjustable bandwidth, while a separate high shelf provides attenuation at 5, 10, or 20 kHz.
Four independent EQ sections run in series and can target different channels, letting you apply separate settings to the mid, sides, or selected speaker groups. Channel Linking helps manage grouped speaker zones. Routing includes 44 configurations, reaching 9.1.6, plus custom profiles with up to 16 channels. Available in VST2 and VST3 formats, EQP-1A fits compatible Windows hosts such as FL Studio and Ableton Live.
