Red Rock Sounds EQP-1A is a Windows EQ plugin for producers who want broad tonal shaping with the character of a 1960s tube program equalizer. Available in VST2 and VST3 formats, it suits hobby producers working in FL Studio or Ableton Live, with tools for stereo, mid/side and immersive mixing.
The low-frequency section offers boost and attenuation at 20, 30, 60 and 100 Hz. Applying both together creates a resonant shelf, giving you another way to contour the bottom end beyond a straightforward bass boost. For upper frequencies, seven selectable boost points span 3–16 kHz, while a bandwidth control adjusts the width of the boost curve. High-shelf attenuation is available at 5, 10 and 20 kHz.
EQP-1A models the original hardware’s transformers and tube amplifier stages, with switchable analog saturation. Four independent equalizers and channel linking support work across grouped speaker zones, immersive objects and fixed-channel beds. It is a practical option for broad bass and treble adjustments rather than narrow corrective EQ tasks.
