ReFuse Lowender v1.3 is a subharmonic bass enhancement effect that generates deep low-frequency content from incoming audio. It is useful for producers who want heavier kicks, fuller drum loops, or extra weight in rock, dub, metal, and dance productions. Sound designers and post-production editors can also use it to add low-end rumble.

Switchable frequency ranges let you tailor the generated bass to the source material rather than applying the same treatment to every track. A gate designed for low frequencies helps control unwanted rumble between hits, keeping rhythmic parts cleaner. The output stage combines overdrive with a variable lowpass filter: use the drive to shape the bass dynamics, then filter the added harmonics for a smoother result or retain some grit for a rougher texture.

Version 1.3 improves the gate’s level detection and supports Ctrl-drag for fine adjustments on Windows. The Windows VST effect is suited to compatible hosts such as FL Studio and Ableton Live, with 32-bit and 64-bit versions noted.
