Resolume Arena 7 is Windows software for live video mixing, projection mapping and audiovisual performance. It is a standalone media server rather than a VST instrument or effect, aimed at VJs, DJs, stage designers and music producers who want to build visuals around their sets.
Trigger clips on demand, reverse playback, scratch footage and adjust its tempo to match the music. Audio analysis lets you drive visual parameters from incoming sound, while combined audio and video playback helps you assemble coordinated performances. Real-time compositing and GPU-powered effects provide control over clip positioning, scale and appearance.
Arena adds projection mapping for irregular surfaces and edge blending across multiple projectors, making it useful for anything from a DJ booth to a larger installation. It also supports multiple display outputs, DMX lighting control and SMPTE timecode synchronization.
For hands-on operation, connect a MIDI controller, use OSC or control Arena from a lighting desk. Spout shares visuals with other Windows applications, and support for third-party visual effects and VST audio effects expands your processing options.
