Resolume Arena is Windows software for live video mixing, projection mapping and audiovisual performance, rather than a VST audio plugin. It suits VJs, DJs, live performers and music producers who want to build a visual show around their sets.

Trigger clips on demand, reverse playback, scratch through footage or adjust its tempo to follow the music. Combine video and audio files, layer visuals, and change clip scale and position to fit your layout. GPU-powered compositing and effects let you reshape the picture during a performance, with capacity depending on your computer.

Arena adds projection-mapping tools for surfaces ranging from DJ booths to buildings. Edge blending joins multiple projector outputs into a continuous image, including wraparound setups. You can also distribute visuals across screens recognised by your computer and send colour information to DMX lighting fixtures.

For hands-on operation, Arena supports MIDI controllers and OSC control. Lighting-desk control and SMPTE timecode synchronisation help coordinate visuals with a larger show. It is a dedicated visual-performance tool, not an effect you load onto a DAW mixer channel.
