Retro Pack HD v7

McDSP Retro Pack HD v7 brings vintage-inspired tone shaping and dynamics control to AAX DSP setups. Rather than copying classic hardware, its three processors use original designs developed from McDSP’s decades of audio experience. The 4020 Retro EQ pairs high and low shelves with two parametric mid bands and a complementary filter set for broad tonal adjustments or focused shaping. The 4030 Retro Compressor adds dynamic control with a wet/dry blend for balancing punch and compression. For peak control, the 4040 Retro Limiter combines look-ahead brick-wall limiting with treatments designed to keep the results subtle and vintage-flavoured. This bundle suits producers and mix engineers seeking characterful EQ, compression and limiting. Updated high-definition interfaces and double-precision processing round out the package. This HD edition is intended for AAX DSP users; a separate Native version is available.
