Rewind

Rewind by MeldaProduction is a granular instrument built for reverse sound design. It deconstructs 128 included samples into tiny grains and plays them backwards, with controls for position, density, grain size, stereo width, chaos, detune, and dust for crackle. A Lo-Fi section adds digital bit-crushing and analog warmth, while a multi-mode filter and two ADSR envelopes shape tone and dynamics. The tape loop emulates classic reverse tape with rewind, half/double speed, age, wash, regen, and fade. Five effects modules—chorus, rotary, flanger, delay, and reverb—can be reordered via drag-and-drop. The result ranges from poetic chimes and nostalgic pads to ominous textures ideal for suspense scoring. It suits hobby producers and sound designers working in FL Studio, Ableton, or Logic who want to create evolving, atmospheric sounds without complex routing.
