Ripple Cello

Ripple Cello is a Kontakt instrument library that captures the expressive nuance of two-note slurs on a cello. Instead of standard articulations, it offers playable “ripples”—overlapping note pairs within a perfect fourth that trigger swells recorded as single bow strokes. The result is a living, breathing string texture where the second note can emerge as a ghostly whisper or swell into a bold gesture. Ideal for film scoring, ambient music, and modern string arrangements, these tempo-synced loops (at 110 BPM) adapt naturally to your DAW’s tempo. The built-in MIDI Clip Browser provides 80 ideas across quarter, eighth, and sixteenth articulations, drag-and-drop ready to spark creativity. With 684 samples and 345 MB compressed, Ripple Cello suits composers and producers seeking organic, evolving string performances that feel human and inspiring—perfect for hobbyists exploring new sonic territories in FL Studio, Ableton, or Logic.
