Ronan Fed ESSENCE v1.0 VST VST3 WiN [FREE]

Ronan Fed ESSENCE v1.0 is a free polyphonic subtractive synthesizer for Windows, available in VST and VST3 formats. It suits hobby producers who want to build layered synth sounds in compatible hosts such as FL Studio and Ableton Live.

The sound engine combines three multi-voice oscillators, each offering eight voices with detune and stereo controls. A separate sub oscillator adds low-end weight, while a noise oscillator with its own stereo control provides another layer for sound design. Low-pass, band-pass and high-pass filter modes let you reshape the oscillator mix.

Dedicated filter and amplitude envelopes include shape controls for adjusting how a patch develops over time. Two additional modulation envelopes and a tempo-synced LFO provide further movement. For tonal finishing, ESSENCE includes distortion, saturation, bass and treble controls, plus gain adjustment and stereo imaging.

With a compact 9.13 MB download, ESSENCE offers a focused set of synthesis tools for producers exploring oscillator layering, envelope shaping and modulation without needing a large sample library.
