Rob Papen RP-EQ is an eight-band equalizer plugin that combines practical tone shaping with creative sound processing. Use its standard EQ mode for everyday mixing, or switch to Mid/Side mode to adjust the centre and stereo edges separately. A Mono/Stereo split filter makes it particularly useful for EDM and dance production, while tape-inspired saturation adds warmth to individual sounds or mixes. For brighter master-channel processing, the Air section offers a broad boost to very high frequencies. The X/Y pad brings a more expressive approach to shaping your sound, supported by input and output spectrum displays for visual feedback. Preset banks provide starting points, and A/B variations let you compare two settings as you work.
