S-VX

S-VX is a hybrid Kontakt library that captures the gritty, characterful sound of the classic 12-bit AKAI S900 and S950 samplers from the mid-1980s. It includes 376 24-bit stereo samples and a four-voice layering engine with a save facility, letting you stack and blend up to four of its 32 multi-sampled instruments. The 32 editable example patches in .nki format give you a starting point for creating your own layered textures. The lo-fi, punchy tone is ideal for hip-hop, electronic, and lo-fi productions, or any track needing vintage sampler grit. It suits hobby producers using FL Studio, Ableton, or Logic who want authentic retro sample character without hardware.
