Schema Light

Schema: Light is a melodic sequencer instrument from Native Instruments designed to spark new ideas fast. At its core is a 16-step sequencer with four tempo-synced, two-bar loops that you can toggle per step to build evolving melodic patterns. Each layer offers four variations—from clean original recordings to versions processed with stompboxes, modular gear, tape machines, and granular techniques—giving you soft plucks, bells, dreamy keys, and atmospheric textures. With 200 presets, playback modes, envelopes, filters, and six studio-grade effects across two sends, it suits hobby producers crafting film scores, electronic soundscapes, or hypnotic hip hop beats. Randomization and polyrhythmic pattern lengths invite happy accidents, while the intuitive interface keeps hands-on sculpting accessible for any workflow.
