Scheps 73

Scheps 73 is a meticulous emulation of the classic 1073 console preamp and EQ, crafted with Grammy-winning engineer Andrew Scheps. It delivers the fat, warm character that made the original legendary, thanks to precise modeling of transformer saturation and the four-band EQ. Use it to add weight and presence to vocals, drums, guitars, or any track needing analog richness. The included Mid-Side Matrix lets you equalize mid and sides independently, while mono, dual mono, and stereo modes with multiple monitoring options provide flexible workflow. An exclusive midrange band from the original schematics adds unique tonal control. Whether you’re mixing in FL Studio, Ableton, or Logic, Scheps 73 suits producers seeking authentic vintage tone and musical EQ shaping. Its intuitive layout and proven sound make it a go-to for hobbyists and pros alike who want that coveted console magic in their DAW.
