Arturia SEM V brings the distinctive character of the Oberheim Synthesizer Expander Module into a software synth built for classic analog tones and deeper sound design. Two oscillators supply sawtooth and variable-width pulse waves, while the 12dB/octave multimode filter moves from low-pass to high-pass, with band-pass and notch options for extra tonal variety. Use it for weighty basses, expressive leads, evolving pads, acid-style arpeggios or electronic percussion. Beyond the original design, SEM V adds a sub-oscillator, noise, a second LFO and a modulation matrix to expand your patches. The 8 Voice Programmer lets you explore the character of larger SEM systems, with up to 32-note polyphony available. Overdrive, chorus and delay provide onboard finishing touches. It suits hobby producers and synth enthusiasts who want vintage-inspired sounds with flexible modulation and polyphonic possibilities.
