Semedo Notes is a Windows VST3 plugin that turns recorded audio into MIDI notes inside your DAW. Drop in a WAV, AIFF, FLAC, MP3 or OGG file — guitar, piano, bass, vocals, strings, synth leads — and it detects pitch, timing, duration and velocity, then generates a MIDI file you can drag into your project. You can also record live input for up to two minutes and transcribe it on the spot. Its Ghost Note Filter removes false notes from overtones, noise and bleed, while the Purity knob lets you balance completeness against cleanliness. Pitch bend and expression can be exported in three modes, including per-note MPE for instruments like Serum and Pigments. Time quantize uses your project tempo, and a scale filter constrains notes to a chosen key. It is aimed at hobby producers who play or sing but lack keyboard skills or a MIDI controller, and who want usable MIDI without manual cleanup.
