Serum Expansion Pack: Chill Hop Lo-Fi

Serum Expansion Pack: Chill Hop Lo-Fi brings 64 presets to Xfer Records Serum v1 and v2, giving beatmakers a palette for mellow hip hop, nostalgic instrumentals and laid-back electronic tracks. Rather than a standalone instrument, this expansion adds ready-to-play sounds to your existing Serum setup. Explore smooth leads, FM pianos, organs, soft pads and dreamy bells, alongside rounded basses, lively plucks and lo-fi drums. Vinyl, tape and radio effects sit beside rain and distant storm textures, helping you build atmosphere around a beat or melodic loop. Created by Adam Pietruszko, the patches include mod wheel and macro assignments for quick sound shaping. It’s a useful starting point for hobby producers who want warm, slightly off-kilter character without designing every patch from scratch, whether they’re sketching a chilled groove or adding texture to a finished arrangement.
