Plexum is a free VST3 plugin for Windows that blends arpeggiator-style note handling with a multitrack sequencer. It lets you run up to five independent sequences at once, each looping over one bar in sync with your project tempo. Incoming MIDI notes are assigned to sequences in order: the first note goes to sequence one, the second to sequence two, and so on. When you release a note, the remaining notes are reassigned automatically, just like an arpeggiator. Each sequence can have 1 to 32 steps, so you can create polyrhythms easily. Every step has its own MIDI channel, velocity, and gate length settings, and you can tweak everything while the transport is running. Usage is straightforward: left-click a step to turn it on or off, right-click to enable parameter editing, and click-and-hold on a control to change its value. Plexum is aimed at hobby producers using FL Studio, Ableton Live, or Logic on Windows who want flexible, hands-on sequence generation without a complex setup.
